Answer: Option A — GD Kumar

Detailed Solution

The Gurmukhi paper 'Swadesh Sewak' was published from Vancouver, Canada, by Guru Datt Kumar (G. D. Kumar), so the answer is (A). Started around 1909-10, it spread social reform and nationalism among Punjabi workers settled in Canada and called on Indian soldiers to revolt against the British. 'Taraknath Das' brought out the English paper 'Free Hindustan' from Vancouver, which makes him the main trap. 'Lala Hardayal' founded the Ghadar Party in San Francisco in 1913 and published the 'Ghadar' paper. 'Ajit Singh', Bhagat Singh's uncle, led the 'Pagdi Sambhal Jatta' movement in Punjab in 1907. The Komagata Maru incident of 1914 is also linked to Vancouver.
